Maureen K. Scott Fine Art

Artist Statement

Maureen K. Scott studied sculpture at the University of Denver, then at the Art Institute in Chicago and also in Pietrasanta, Italy.
Scott uses the figure as the theme for her work, seeing beautiful shapes within the human figure. Then she paints each piece, loving the challenge of making each piece as unique as possible.
Scott is represented by: Harlow’s Fine Art Gallery, Laguna Beach, CA; and DB British & International Art Gallery, Marbella, Spain. And for the second year well known designer Mickey Ackerman will placed several of her sculptures in the 2006 Parade of Homes in Reunion CO. Scott’s design “Americow,” will be in the 2006 Cow Parade in Denver, CO. In 2002 her bronze “Monday” was added to the permanent collection in Benson Sculpture Garden, in Loveland, CO.
